Hi I have actually just bought my first skink! She is around 6-7 inches and I currently have her in a 10 gallon. I will upgrade to a 20 gallon soon since this tank was laying around unused. Anyways, I was wondering what Fire skinks eat. I have put a small pieces of carrot and a few mealworms in a dish for her but I've read they can have things like scrambled eggs and raw hamburger. Is that true or is it unhealthy? Also how much should I feed her? I wouldn't believe she's more than 2 months old. Also is it normal for her to sleep with her head up? She's just in her hide with her head propped up against the glass. Thank you for any answers!!

Hi, I have never kept these lizards but the following article seems to make sense... I will say that there is no way you can create a decent temp and humidity range in a 10 gallon fishtank.
I also would NOT feed raw hamburger or any other lean meats/mixes.
